1:28 AM by Metro Manila Directions · 70 comments

Addressing the heavy traffic in the city, particularly in the Bicutan area, the City Council of Parañaque has passed an ordinance to implement the Unified Vehicle Volume Reduction Program(UVVRP) or the Number Coding Scheme in the vicinity of Bicutan Interchange.

MMDA will now be observing the number coding scheme in the following area.
1. From Dona Soledad Avenue: France -> Michael Rua -> Japan --> Sto. Dominic Savio -> Pres. Aguinaldo -> San Antonio Avenue. Note that these streets are in Barangay Don Bosco.
2. From Bicutan Interchange: Doña Soledad Ave -> Doña Soledad Extension -> E.Rodriguez St (in Barangay Moonwalk
3. East Service Rd from FTI Parañaque area to Dr. Santos Ave (Bicutan)
4. West Service Rd from Merville Park Subdivision Parañaque area to Dr.Santos Avenue (Bicutan).

Note that truck ban will be implemented in the aforementioned thoroughfares. Window hours will be the usual 10am-3pm.

PLEASE SHARE TO YOUR FRIENDS TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS. CHRISTMAS SEASON IS COMING SOON!

Yes, there's window 10am to 3pm.
Actually, number coding is implemented only in the areas mentioned here. But other than these places, number coding is not implemented in Paranaque.

Is the west service road by Marcelo Green affected of the number coding? It's not highlighted in your map. Correct me if Im wrong, but this is how i understand number 4.

Need some clarification. Thanks!

Metro Manila Directions said...

Hello, Marcelo Green is not included. #4 is from Merville in the Nichols/Villamor area to Bicutan. Marcelo Green is between Bicutan and Sucat.

Hello MMDA!

Greeting!

I usually have to go to the European School (Paranaque) on Tuesday and my car is under number coding. I'm living near Vito Cruz. If on Tuesday I take SLEX to Bicutan, via Dona Soledad Ave. to the School, only during the window hour. Do I violate the number coding rules?
Thanks!

Dr. A. Santos Ave. is not Bicutan. It's Sucat. Bicutan is Dona Soledad. For info. Thanks.

You are penalizing the residents of Better Living instead of the non residents who just use our road for passing through! The subdivision should issue stickers to residents and disallow shortcut to the airport for the traffic to ease!
